Please don’t miss this special event with Ralph Shayne, author of Hour of Need, a graphic novel honoring the heroes who saved Danish Jews during the Holocaust. Join us at Victory Theatre on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a free discussion on this powerful story of courage and humanity.
Thanks to the generosity of the EVPL Foundation, CYPRESS, and The Rechnic Foundation, this event is free and open to all. Mark your calendar now to be part of this important conversation!
Cast Your Vote
Between March 10 and May 4, 2025, American Jews can vote for their vision of the Jewish people in Israel and around the world. Make sure your point of view is represented in the next World Zionist Congress. By voting you will be able to choose one of the many slates representing diverse political beliefs, religious denominations and cultural traditions. The 152 delegates elected from the United States will join hundreds from Israel and around the world at the 39th World Zionist Congress in October 2025, the international “parliament of the Jewish people”, to make decisions and set policies regarding key institutions that support global Jewish life and which allocate over $1 billion annually to support Israel and world Jewry (including the World Zionist Organization, Jewish National Fund and the Jewish Agency for Israel). With more slates and candidates than ever before, American Jews have a rare opportunity to make a direct impact on the future direction of Israel and diaspora affairs

Where were you born? Are you an Evansville native or a transplant?
Did your grandparents immigrate from another country?
Help us map our collective ancestry by filling out a simple form on our website https://templeabi.org/tabi-heritage-map. We will collect the data and everyone who submits their family history will be represented by pins in beautiful maps that will hang at TABI as a part of our Library Archive Project. Learn more here or contact Ed Scharf (escharf@gmail.com) with any questions.
