Sadelle Berger to be Honored at the YWCA Women’s Equality Day Luncheon on August 28th
Charlie Berger will be accepting the Legacy Honoree Award on behalf of his mother, Sadelle Berger, at this year’s Women’s Equality Day Luncheon on Wednesday, August 28 at the YWCA. The event commemorates passage of the 19th Amendment and includes the Women Stepping Up awards that celebrate women in the Tri-State of every race, class and ethnic background who have made historic contributions to the growth and strength of our community.
Sadelle was the first female president of Temple Adath Israel and sat on the committee that oversaw the merger with B’nai Israel.
The event will take place at the Old National Events Plaza and it is open to the public. More information at https://womensequalityday.swell.gives/
