| Weekly Announcements Our local PBS TV station WNIN CH-9 in conjunction with the Evansville Wartime Museum will broadcast the locally produced 30 minute documentary about Simon Spiegelman and his cousin Irene Rechnic and their family experiences surviving the Holocaust. The Rechnic’s settled in Evansville and were long time members of our congregation. The program will air Thursday July 11th at 7:00pm and repeated Sunday July 21st at 10:30am. The program will also be live streamed through WNIN’s website, HULU, You Tube TV, and Direct Now. Don’t miss this very powerful video. Congratulations to TABI’s own Carol Abrams! Carol is being recognized by the Indiana Jewish Historical Society as a Hoosier Jewish Legend. The award is presented to “Hoosiers who have made a significant and lasting impact to their profession, community, and the fabric of our cultural heritage in Indiana.” Carol we are so proud of you! Mazel tov on this well deserved recognition. The award will be presented to Carol on August 25th in Indianapolis. UPCOMING SERVICES Shabbat Under the Stars Series Join us this summer for three musically themed outdoor Shabbat Services. We will be under the stars – on the back patio. Bring your lawn chair and bug spray and dress comfortably. These services are always great fun!
